Dia De Los Muertos at Disneyland in Frontierland
Join the festivities as Frontierland hosts a very special tribute to Día de Los Muertos! Dia de Los Muertos runs from October 1 through November 2. The holiday is a time to remember loved ones that have passed, while we embrace our eternal connections.
To commemorate the occasion, El Zócalo Park will feature iconic skeleton figurines called calacas—depicting a trio of mariachi musicians—as well as brightly colored flowers and other decorative items seen in traditional ofrendas on the Day of the Dead. You can even savor the traditional flavors of Mexico as you dine at nearby Rancho del Zócalo Restaurante.
From the authentic décor to delicious home-style dishes, you won’t want to miss this heartfelt celebration of Día de los Muertos.
Halloween
See Mini Mouse and Mickey Mouse and friends decked out in festive attire for tricks and treats. And, spirit away for awesome fun with themed attractions, entertainment, dining, and more through October 31.
Haunted Mansion
After completing a refurbishment August 2023, the Haunted Mansion is now open to Disneyland guests. Take a seat in this classidc ride that transforms into The Nightmare Before Christmas. Ride the gloomy Doom Buggy for an eerie tour through this house of happy haunts. Ride is for kids and adults (any height).
Frightful Delights Await! Dearly depart into a foreboding estate, drag your body to the dead center of the Portrait Chamber and watch as the walls begin to stretch before your eyes. Climb into your waiting Doom Buggy and embark on a shivering journey into an unearthly realm. Creepy Fun for Little Ones! The Haunted Mansion is dark and contains some mildly frightening scenes, but there is no gore. The ghostly residents are friendly and the ride is slow-moving.
The disembodied voice of the Ghost Host is your private guide through the cadaverous dwelling—home to grinning ghosts and other spectral surprises.
Glide past a rattling casket in the conservatory. Head off to Madame Leota’s spirited séance room. Float by the Grand Ballroom and its waltzing apparitions. Take a spin through a cemetery where the spirited residents regale you with song.
Beware of lurking hitchhikers—these phantom pranksters may try to follow you home!
Halloween Screams is a nighttime projection and fireworks show on select nights at the Disneyland Park.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is a pumpkin-hunting activity across both parks and the Downtown Disney District.
