Le Papagayo is one of the few restaurants that actually expanded during the pandemic by opening its very successful second location in Carlsbad Village. Their third restaurant is currently being built on Hwy 101 in Encinitas and is scheduled to open sometime later this year. Their Carlsbad restaurant is spectacular, with live music nightly, and is always busy. It has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, many new large flat screen TVs, a bustling long bar, great food, and a live music stage. Locals love their big outdoor patio seating and the wonderful award-winning cuisine.
This locally family-owned restaurant has gained, over the years, a large, loyal, following. We want everyone near and far to experience the flavors and sounds of this dining establishment on Historic California Coast Highway 101 in Leucadia, and on Carlsbad Village Drive, in Carlsbad Village, and soon in Encinitas on Coast Hwy 101, because Le Papagayo is truly awesome. Their lunch and dinner menu rocks and so does their Happy Hour menu with new specialty cocktails and food and drink specials every day from 4-6pm and on Tuesdays all night long! Their Wagyu Burger and Pulled BBQ Pork are amazing and so are their Ahi Poke and Spring Rolls. Other favorites include Carne Asada, Duck Confit, Mahi Mahi and Shrimp Tacos. Their Happy Hour menu and regular menus offer a variety of quality, tasty and healthy items, and will surely have something perfect for you.
