This event coincides with the Manhattan Beach International Surf Festival. Grab your family, buckets, shovels, nature friendly décor, and head down to the Manhattan Beach 63rd Annual Sandcastle Contest, for a fun, creative, and exciting day at the beach! The event takes place at the Manhattan Beach Pier. Whether you want to build your own sandcastle or just be a spectator, this event is perfect for the entire family.
Please remember that by 11am all event projects must be knocked down and the sand surface must be flat.
The schedule is as follows:
Onsite Registration: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM
Rules and Regulations: 7:20 AM – 7:30 AM
Event Building Time: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Judging and Pictures: 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Awards Ceremony: 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM
