San Diego County Fair 2026 Theme is: Once Upon a Fair
June 10 – July 5
The county’s largest annual event will take place at the Del Mar Fairgrounds from June 10 to July 5. This year’s theme is Once Upon a Fair.
The San Diego County Fair is the greatest story our San Diego community has ever told. It’s a tale of food, fun, friends, family, laughter, tradition, music, amazement, and pure unbridled joy. The Fair is the largest and longest-running community event in San Diego County history! The Fair will make it’s triumphant return fron Wednesday, June 10, to Sunday, July 5. (closed Mondays and Tuesdays)
The Fair will have fantastic food vendors serving everything from deep fried Oreos, bacon wrapped turkey legs, and Krispy Kreme cheese burgers, to a healthier type of barbeque. Every year at the Fair, Juicy’s Outlaw Grill sells over 50,000 turkey legs, Bacon-A-Fair uses more than 18,000 pounds of bacon, Pinks sells more than 20,000 hot dogs, Tasti Chips goes through 25 tons of potatoes, Country Fair Cinnamon Rolls pours over 500 gallons of cream cheese frosting on their cinnamon rolls, and Australian Battered Potatoes goes through more than 14,000 pounds of potatoes! Chicken Charlies has the biggest footprint at the Fair. Charlie’s Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken Bowl, served with white rice, in a half a pineapple is a big seller. Bacon-A-Fair with their bacon wrapped turkey legs, and Tasti Chips with fresh cut potatoes and dipping sauces, are a couple of Fair favorites!
